The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential. The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to deliver targeted interventions and create an inclusive, engaging learning environment.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role involves supporting pupils with:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
• Global developmental delay
• Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs

The SEN Teaching Assistant may also support pupils with physical disabilities and assist with personal care where required.

• Pay: -90- -100 per day (depending on experience)

About You: SEN Teaching Assistant

• Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEN in education or care settings
• A calm, patient, and resilient approach
• Strong behaviour management skills and a nurturing mindset
• Good English and Maths skills (GCSE grade C/4 or equivalent)
• A genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs
