The RoleAs part of delivering the homeless contract on behalf of Bromsgrove District Council you will be required to help prevent homelessness and will provide a comprehensive housing advice and homelessness service to our customers including the assessment of need and subsequent allocation. The Housing Options service is an everchanging service that evolves to the needs of the customers and the business so you will need to have an open minded approach and a ''can do'', energetic attitude. Our customers are diverse and can be vulnerable, the role can be very challenging so you will need to have a flexible, caring, understanding and positive approach. About YouTo be successful, you will need to have experience of working within a customer based environment that acknowledges and understands vulnerabilities. With experience of working in social housing customer facing teams, preferably within a housing options environment, you will have the ability to adapt your communication style to suit individual needs.
