We Are Footprint are working with a well-established home improvements business who are looking to recruit an experienced Health and Safety Inspector / Advisor to join their team. This is a hands-on role covering multiple locations, carrying out inspections, audits and risk assessments while helping the business maintain high standards across health and safety and environmental compliance. The Role Carry out regular site safety inspections and audits across the business. Complete and review risk assessments and identify ways to reduce risks. Deliver HandS inductions for new starters. Manage training records and ensure employees have the relevant training for their roles. Support accident and incident investigations, including RIDDOR reporting where required. Keep up to date with changes to health, safety and environmental legislation. Record audit findings and produce reports with recommendations for improvement. Support monthly HandS meetings and communicate important safety updates across the business. Help develop and maintain HandS policies, procedures and minimum standards. Provide practical advice and guidance to managers and employees. Assist with HandS training, presentations, newsletters and safety briefings. Work independently across different locations and help drive improvements in safety standards.
