Tradewind Recruitment are working with a well-resourced, supportive SEND school in Hillingdon that specialises in helping primary-aged pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. They are seeking a caring and resilient SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team from October 2025.

Your Role:

• Build strong, trusting relationships with children with SEMH

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups to re-engage them in learning

• Use positive behaviour strategies to promote confidence and resilience

• Work alongside teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to create personalised learning plans

What we''re looking for:

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or additional needs

• Resilient, empathetic, and proactive in your approach

• A passion for helping young people succeed academically and emotionally

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
