Cleaning Operative - Role Part-Time Daytime Cleaner Location: London Remuneration: 13.85 p/h Hours: from 2-7 hours per day Role Description A day cleaner in an office space plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and pleasant working environment. Below is a list of typical duties and responsibilities that a day cleaner may be expected to perform: General Cleaning: Clean and sanitise kitchen counters, sinks, and appliances (microwave, refrigerator, etc.). Empty trash bins and replace liners in kitchen and break room areas. Ensure that dishes and utensils are cleaned and stored properly. Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors. Replenish supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Ensure restrooms are stocked and presentable at all times. Collect and dispose of trash and recycling throughout the office. Ensure that waste is sorted correctly according to recycling guidelines. Clean and set up meeting rooms before and after use, including arranging furniture and ensuring equipment is functional. Wipe down tables and chairs after meetings Maintain carpets by spot cleaning as needed. Sweep hard surface floors to ensure cleanliness Clean and sanitize high-touch areas such as door handles, light switches, and elevator buttons.
