About the role As an Operations Support Officer within SSAFA''s Glasgow''s Helping Heroes service, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day delivery of services to the Armed Forces community. You will provide essential administrative support to help the team work efficiently and respond to those in need in a timely and consistent way. You will manage referrals, update case management systems, and keep records accurate and up to date to support effective decision-making. You will also act as a first point of contact for enquiries, providing helpful information and signposting to appropriate support where needed. You will assist with data tracking, reporting, and workflow processes to ensure information is reliable and easy to access. Working closely with Housing Advisors, Peer Support Workers, and partner organisations, you will help coordinate activities and maintain good communication across the service. You will support the organisation of meetings, manage documentation, and assist with funding processes, including processing requests and keeping track of spend. You will follow good practice around data protection, safeguarding, and confidentiality. You will also support improvements by identifying simple ways to make processes more efficient. As a pet friendly service, GHH regularly supports beneficiaries who may have assistance or support animals.
