Mechanical EngineerWigton AreaSalary dependent on experienceAdecco Workington are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer to join a well established manufacturing business in the Wigton area.This is a hands-on role supporting the maintenance and performance of production machinery across the site. The successful candidate will be involved in both planned and reactive maintenance, machinery improvements and breakdown support within a busy manufacturing environment.Hours are Monday to Friday working days initially, with flexibility required around shifts as training progresses and business needs develop.Key duties Carrying out planned and reactive mechanical maintenance Diagnosing faults and repairing production equipment Supporting machinery installations and upgrades Responding to breakdowns and reducing downtime Working closely with production and maintenance teams Following health and safety procedures at all times Completing maintenance documentation accuratelyAbout you Mechanical Engineering qualification such as ONC, NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds Previous experience within manufacturing or production environments Strong mechanical fault finding and repair experience Knowledge of preventative maintenance Positive and proactive approach Full UK driving licence preferredTraining will be provided on company machinery and processes.For more information or to apply, please contact Adecco Workington.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an ..... full job details .....
