Production operative- day shift 12.71 - -13 DOE per hour Swindon

The Best Connection Swindon is currently recruiting for a Production operatives to work in their furniture manufacture warehouse. This is day shift starting at 05:30. There is a permenant position available after a sucessful trial period.

Our client is in the Swindon area, easily accessible by public transport.

• Hours and pay: Monday to Friday, 05:30am - 14:00pm
• -12.71 - -13 DOE

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and packing heavy delicate items.
• Light sanding of furniture when required
• Quality Control: Checking items for quality, accuracy, and defects.
• Material Handling: Preparing, loading, and moving raw materials.
• Finishing & Packing: Polishing, varnishing, and packing finished items for dispatch.

Requirements and Skills

• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials.
• Skills: Good hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and ability to read technical drawings/instructions.
• Experience in manufacturing or furniture industry is preferred but not essential.
