Are you a CAD Design Engineer with sheet metal experience looking to join a growing manufacturer offering extensive training, development and genuine long-term progression?

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established sheet metal manufacturer that has recently moved into a large purpose-built facility with brand-new machinery, allowing the business to increase production and continue its growth.

In this role, you''ll work closely with the management and fabrication teams to produce detailed, production-ready designs for bespoke sheet metal products across a variety of industries, including architectural metalwork. You''ll be involved throughout the process, from initial customer enquiry and estimating through to manufacture.

The ideal candidate will have strong CAD experience using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Fusion 360, alongside a practical understanding of sheet metal fabrication.

The Role:

• Producing detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Fusion 360
• Creating flat patterns and Bills of Materials
• Preparing estimates and quotations from technical and architectural drawings
• Designing sheet metal components including bends, hems, flanges, gussets and louvers
• Obtaining supplier quotations where required
• Fully office-based in Luton

The Person:

• Strong experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks or Fusion 360
• Ability to produce and interpret engineering, architectural and fabrication drawings
• Commutable to Luton
