QA EngineerCardiff- Office - Hybrid WorkingUp to 45,000 + Annual BonusCPS Group are supporting a Financial Services organisation experiencing recent growth, who are looking to add an experienced QA Engineer to their team.This is a hands-on position where you''ll take ownership of testing throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with developers and stakeholders to ensure quality from requirements through to release.The Role:- Own the testing approach for features from requirements through to production.- Design and maintain automated tests across UI, API and integration layers.- Work with Playwright or WebdriverIO, alongside Cucumber/BDD.- Carry out manual, automated, API, integration and exploratory testing.- Use SQL to query relational databases and support test data requirements.- Identify risks, dependencies and potential issues early in the development process.- Work with Git and CI/CD pipelines to support automated testing.- Contribute to improvements across QA processes and testing standards.- Support and mentor junior members of the QA team.Essential Experience:- Strong commercial experience across both manual and automated testing.- Hands-on experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO.- Experience with Cucumber or another BDD framework.- Working knowledge of Java or JavaScript/TypeScript.- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.- Solid API testing experience.- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.- Experience taking ownership ..... full job details .....
