The school provides education across their sites for learners that have ASD/ASC (Autism), SEMH and other complex needs as well as for children that have been permanently excluded from school. Often, all of their children display challenging behaviours. Naturally being an experienced SEND Teacher in this type of teaching environment comes with its'' challenges however this truly is a rewarding place to work. Despite the challenges their learners face, the school have high expectations of their learners and nurture and support them. The headteacher is continuing the long-standing approach to offer outstanding opportunities for the learners, but also maintaining a highly positive, friendly and welcoming work environment for colleagues. Applicants with Team Teach training or other positive behaviour management training may be at an advantage however free training will be provided for the successful applicant.
