The role and about youAs a Train Cleaner, you will perform cleaning on areas of the train where it is visible and not visible to the public eye on the interior of the train (as in pulling out seats, cleaning around panels, back of toilets, etc). Typical duties include hoovering, buffering, wiping down surfaces, cleaning toilets, changing bins, CET tanking and picking up litter.Hours wise, it is a night shift role which works across a 12-week roster. For 8 weeks of this roster, you will be working between 22:00pm till 06:00am. For the other 4 weeks, you shall work between 20:30pm 04:30am. You will be working an average of 35 hours a week.You are a motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work. You thrive in a physically demanding role and are prepared to work nights as part of a varied shift pattern. You must be able to pass a railway comprehensive drug and alcohol test.
