Regional Design Manager / Sussex / andpound;70,000 - andpound;75,000

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Design Manager to join a specialist engineering company based from their Central Sussex office to oversee the design activities for multiple water and wastewater treatment projects.

This role includes managing multidisciplinary design teams to manage the design process from concept to completion ensuring compliance with regulations and applying best practices. Additionally, the Regional Design Manager will play a key role in planning future workload to ensure efficient resource allocation and successful project delivery.

The successful candidate for this role will need to have:

• Bachelorandrsquo;s degree in Engineering, Design, Architecture, Design Management, Construction Management or a related field
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or working towards it
• Strong technical knowledge of water and wastewater treatment design processes and regulatory frameworks
• Extensive experience in design management or design production in a leadership role within the water or wastewater sector
• Proven track record of managing large, multi-disciplinary design teams and delivering projects across multiple regions
• Well-developed design management, bid, commercial and project management skills
• Good understanding and knowledge of design / quality systems and environmental procedures
