You will be joining a successful specialist Post-16 SEMH provision in Southampton. This is a full-time contract to start ASAP on an ongoing/temp to perm contract so please only apply if you are seeking a permanent position.As an Employability Teacher, you will:Deliver engaging lessons in Functional English (Entry Level to Level 2)Support learners in developing core employability skills, including CV writing, interview prep, workplace behaviour etcFoster a positive, inclusive, and trauma-informed learning environmentSupport learners'' personal and social development alongside their academic progress The successful Employability Teacher must have:Experience of working with young people with SEMH needs or in an alternative education/SEN settingStrong knowledge of Functional English and employability frameworksA recognised teaching qualification (e.g. PTLLS, DTLLS, CertEd, or equivalent) - or willingness to work towards oneResilience, empathy, and excellent communication skillsIf you are an experienced Employability Teacher, live in Southampton and would like to be considered for the role, please apply by sending a copy of your up to date CV.
