Are you an experienced motor vehicle professional looking to inspire the next generation of technicians?

About the Role

As a Motor Vehicle Lecturer with a further education provider, you''ll deliver engaging theory and practical sessions across motor vehicle programmes, helping learners build the technical knowledge, hands-on skills and professional confidence they need to progress into employment or further training.

You''ll bring your industry experience into the classroom and workshop, teaching across a range of levels and adapting your approach so every learner can succeed. If you haven''t taught before, that''s no barrier: you''ll be fully supported to gain a recognised teaching qualification while you work.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging classroom and workshop-based teaching across motor vehicle programmes.

• Teaching learners at a range of levels, including full-time students, adult learners and apprentices.

• Planning lessons, assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.

• Maintaining accurate learner records and contributing to high standards of teaching, learning and assessment.

• Promoting a positive, safe and professional learning environment.

What We''re Looking For

Essential:

• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle (or equivalent)

• Recent industry experience within the motor vehicle sector

• Enthusiasm for developing and inspiring future technicians

• Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable (but not essential):

• A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one

• Experience teaching or mentoring others in a workshop setting
