This is a key role responsible for ensuring compliance with asbestos regulations and leading health and safety management across a diverse property portfolio. Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the lead subject matter expert for asbestos management and health and safety complianceEnsure full compliance with relevant legislation, including Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 and Health and Safety at Work ActOversee asbestos surveys, risk assessments, management plans, and remediation worksManage and monitor appointed asbestos consultants and contractorsProvide professional advice and guidance to internal stakeholders, contractors, and senior managementInvestigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actionsDevelop, review, and update health and safety policies, procedures, and systemsCarry out audits, inspections, and performance monitoringPrepare reports and present findings to senior leadershipEssential RequirementsProven experience in asbestos management and health and safety within housing, property, or construction environmentsStrong working knowledge of UK health and safety and asbestos legislationRelevant professional qualifications (e.g. N
