Provide general commercial legal support across all areas of the businessWork closely with teams in the UK, EU and internationally to ensure legal consistency and complianceSupport departments such as Sales, Customer Success, Compliance, Operations, Risk, Finance, Information Security, and Technology with legal adviceDraft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts with clients, suppliers, and banking partnersHelp manage legal risk across the business, offering practical and balanced guidanceCollaborate with Compliance and Risk teams to support adherence to regulatory obligationsAssist in shaping internal policies and processes to align with legal and business goalsOffer clear, solution-focused advice that supports both business growth and clients’ needsBuild strong working relationships across departments to support day-to-day legal operationsStay informed on relevant legal and regulatory developments impacting the business in all operating regionsSupporting the wider legal team to provide efficient and effective legal support to the businessAd hoc legal and regulatory tasksThe ideal candidate will have the following:

Qualified lawyer, candidates from both common law and civil law jurisdictions will be considered; 0-3 Years PQEDemonstrable experience of providing legal support in a regulated financial services environmentStrong legal experience, gained either in private practice or in-house, ideally covering commercial and financial services mattersExperience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contractsStrong written and spoken English, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-lawyersBackground in or exposure to regulated industries such as financial services, payments, or e-money will be considered an advantageConfident to manage own workload, coordinate with other members of the Legal team, act independently, and seek out information required to deliver successful outcomesEffective communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with atrong multitasking, prioritisation, and organisational skillsComfortable with a hybrid working environmentKeen attention to detailsFlexible and open-minded approach, including taking on additional tasks or changes to the role as requiredAbility to do work independently with support from the wider team where necessaryAct with integrity and honesty at all times that includes having specific regard to the independence requirements of lawyersWe’d like you to take a read of our
