Job Title: SEN Teacher

Salary: £160 - £230 per day

Are you a qualified SEN Teacher with experience supporting pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans / EHCPs?

Do you have the resilience and creativity to deliver engaging lessons in an alternative provision?

Are you passionate about helping primary pupils with additional needs build confidence, independence and progress?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school in Leytonstone, who are rolling out a new alternative provision from September. The setting will provide a nurturing and structured environment for pupils with EHCPs, supporting their academic, social and emotional development.

The school is looking to take on a SEN Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful SEN Teacher will be teaching mixed primary pupils across the provision, planning and delivering differentiated lessons, supporting pupils with a range of needs and working closely with support staff, families and external professionals.

The successful SEN Teacher will have:

QTS

Experience teaching or supporting pupils with SEN and EHCPs

Strong understanding of the primary curriculum across mixed key stages

Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills

A patient, resilient and nurturing approach

The ability to work well as part of a wider SEN and pastoral team
