Hotel Receptionist Location: Sidmouth, Devon Salary: 24,784.50 per annum plus share of tips Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Live-In / Accommodation: N/A Overview A well-established seafront hotel in the popular Devon coastal town of Sidmouth is looking for a full-time Receptionist to join its front of house team. The hotel is part of a respected, family-run West Country hotel group, known for high standards and warm, personal service. This is a great chance to join a friendly, settled team. Full training is given, so the role suits an experienced receptionist or someone keen to start a career in hotel front office. The Role You will be the first point of contact for guests, at the desk and on the phone. You will take and manage all hotel bookings, handle calls and emails, and work closely with every department to give guests the best possible stay. The role is 37.5 hours per week, worked 5 days over 7, including weekends. Shifts are a mix of earlies (7.30am to 3.30pm) and lates (2.30pm to 10.30pm).
