Location: Borehamwood (Hybrid after probation - 2 days in the office) Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Salary: £35,500 per annumAbout the Role We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join a busy procurement team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Supporting the Facilities and Maintenance category, you will work closely with the Category Manager to deliver value, quality, and efficiency across a diverse spend portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional looking to further develop their experience within a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities Support procurement activities across Facilities and Maintenance categories. Manage supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance. Support tendering activities, including ITT and RFI documentation. Analyse spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings. Monitor contract renewals and maintain procurement records. Support procurement projects from specification through to contract award. Maintain supplier, contract, and catalogue data within ERP systems. Track and report procurement savings and performance improvements.Skills and Experience Previous experience in a Buyer or Procurement role. Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with tendering processes, including ITTs and RFIs. Strong analytical and reporting abilities. Experience using ERP systems and eProcurement platforms. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
