As a result they are looking to appoint a Lab Technician at their site in Bedfordshire. This is a great opportunity for someone with laboratory or QA experience who is looking to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and play a key role in maintaining product quality, safety, and compliance. Key Accountabilities Conduct routine testing of raw materials and finished products in line with agreed methods and schedules Record results accurately, updating product specifications and systems as required Assess product compliance, release stock, and escalate non-conformances with appropriate corrective actions Maintain, verify, and calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure ongoing reliability Manage accurate data entry and upkeep of LIMS and stock control systems Keep all laboratory documentation up to date and audit ready Raise and support investigations into non-conforming products and quality issues Produce Certificates of Analysis / Conformity for customers when required Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and organisation within the laboratory Manage shelf-life samples, consumables, and laboratory stock levels Support customer complaints, internal investigations, and shelf-life assessments Undertake additional tasks within the reasonable scope of the role as requested by management Candidate Requirements Educated
