Temporary Assessor - PlumbingWe are currently recruiting for a Temporary Assessor in Plumbing to support the delivery of synoptic assessments.Role OverviewThis role involves the assessment of synoptic assessment only for Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing learners. The successful candidate will assess learners'' practical and theoretical performance in line with awarding body requirements and complete all associated documentation accurately.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing learners undertaking synoptic assessmentsApply assessment processes in line with City and Guilds 8202 requirementsComplete assessment paperwork and reports to a high standardProvide clear and constructive feedback to learnersMaintain accurate IT-based recordsKnowledge, Skills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience and sound understanding of City and Guilds 8202 Level 2 and 3 Plumbing synoptic assessment processesRelevant industry experience within PlumbingStrong understanding of Level 2 and Level 3 Plumbing theory and practical tasksGood IT skills and report writing abilityEssential QualificationsLevel 2 and Level 3 qualifications in PlumbingLevel 3 Assessing Qualification (e.g. CAVA or equivalent)Hours37 hours per weekMonday - Thursday: 8:30am - 5:00pmFriday: 8:30am - 4:30pm The role is subject to Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks.
