CI/CD Platform Engineering Manager

implementation and evolution of Virgin Media O2’s CI/CD strategy , within Telco Cloud ensuring test and non-production environments align with industry best practices. This role combines

Specialist Professional expertise

in

CI/CD and automation frameworks

with

Senior Management leadership

in driving execution, maintaining

KPIs , and fostering

high-quality software delivery processes .Within Telco Cloud, the team deliver across our 4G/5G core infrastructure focusing on increasing agility, efficiency, and reliability across our public and private cloud, networking and service offerings, while reducing operational burden and enabling innovation for application owners.Our on-prem cloud solutions are currently hosted on VMware and moving to RedHat OpenShift.Key responsibilitiesTechnical DeliveryAct as a recognized expert in CI/CD automation and infrastructure managementDesign and implement frameworks for continuous integration, testing, and deploymentEstablish best practices for environment provisioning, configuration, and access controlEnsure alignment with cloud-native architectures, emphasizing scalability and automationOptimize automated testing coverage, leveraging Selenium, Grafana, and other monitoring toolsSenior Management ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic direction for CI/CD process improvement initiativesOversee resource allocation, governance, and adherence to quality gates before production deploymentLead cross-functional teams, collaborating with automation engineers and DevOps specialistsMaintain KPIs and defect tracking reports, ensuring transparency in development workflowsDrive stakeholder engagement to ensure alignment between business objectives and CI/CD executionWho we areThe UK’s fastest broadband network.
