They invest heavily in training and development and fast-track top performers through the business, rewarding them financially and intellectually.The Role of Event Sales Manager (100% new business)You will be selling exhibition and sponsorship opportunities across a number of physical events as well as meetings packages across a number of virtual events, all of which are part of a globally recognised and highly respected event series. You will be 100% new business focused, and therefore will be someone who loves the thrill of the chase. You will be selling to director level decision makers of European Tech companies (large and small) and will be negotiating sometimes very large deals.You will be working in a very fast-paced environment, sourcing your own leads whilst also chasing opportunities which the marketing team have supplied. You will be someone who lives and breathes the role, is passionate about the success of the event and is motivated by the opportunity to earn lots of commission and appreciate early career development/promotion.Requirements for this Event Sales Manager position1-4 years new business sales experience within media, events, subscriptions, SaaS or similarExperience of selling to senior decision makersWell educated, highly articulate and very confident (not arrogant)High work rateHighly driven and self motivatedLoves new business and working in a fast-paced environmentPassionate, outgoing and naturally positive/livelyMoney motivated - you can easily hit target and could double your basic salary and see quick promotionHigh attention to detail - CV''s with spelling errors will be rejected2:1 or 1st degreeIf you feel that you could be the Event Sales Manager we are looking for, and tick the above boxes, please apply and a consultant will be in touch should you make the shortlist.
