The RoleThe Assembly Operative will be responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies within a manufacturing environment, ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed timescales.The role involves following defined build instructions and working methods, with a strong focus on safety, quality, attention to detail and teamwork. The successful candidate will operate in line with established processes, quality standards and operating procedures to meet production and technical requirements. Key Responsibilities- Assemble components and sub-assemblies using engineering drawings- Identify, pick and verify components required for assembly- Inspect incoming parts and liaise with Goods In regarding discrepancies or damage- Assemble products in line with drawings, build sequences and quality standards- Safely and efficiently use hand tools, pneumatic tools and electric tools- Carry out post-build quality inspections on completed assemblies- Troubleshoot and resolve assembly or production issues where possible- Meet daily and weekly production targets- Maintain high standards of quality and workmanship at all times- Undertake any other reasonabl
