This is a hands-on infrastructure role, focused on ensuring the reliability, security, and resilience of critical IT systems.You''ll operate as a senior technical escalation point, supporting and improving core infrastructure services while contributing to infrastructure projects, resilience initiatives, and continuous improvement across the wider group technology function.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the availability, performance, and resilience of core infrastructure services across on-premises and Microsoft Azure environments.Administer and improve VMware virtualised environments, including capacity planning, optimisation, and resilience design.Manage and support Windows Server and Active Directory, including Group Policy, DNS, authentication, and identity integrations.Support and develop Azure infrastructure services, including virtual machines, networking, monitoring, backup, and recovery.Act as a senior escalation point for complex incidents, supporting diagnosis, resolution, and stakeholder communication.Own the operation and continuous improvement of network and security services, including Cisco networking and Fortinet firewalls.Support backup, disaster recovery, and resilience planning, including testing and improvement initiatives.Participate in a 24x7 on-call rota, providing out-of-h
