Reed Accountancy are supporting an established and successful client in the Crawley area in the recruitment of an Accounts Assistant to join their existing team on a part time basis, between 24-30 hours per week.This role will ensure accurate and timely processing of group accounts, provide financial support and backup information to the Financial Controller and maintain financial compliance at all times. Due to limited public transport options, this role requires access to your own vehicle.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts swiftly and accuratelyBank money daily and manage ledger transfers, invoices and credit notes.Reconcile purchase ledger accounts and maintain supplier relationships.Provide cashflow data and support the Financial Controller with reporting.Ensure compliance with Health and Safety, company policies, and industry standards.Key RequirementsStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.An excellent opportunity to join this locally based organisation with an excellent reputation.We are looking to shortlist immediately so please apply now!
