Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the successful candidate will ensure all maintenance activities are carried out safely and securely, adhering to company policies, procedures, and health and safety legislation. This role involves being proactive in maintaining site machinery, executing planned preventive maintenance, and responding to equipment faults efficiently.This is a desirable 4 on 4 off days role with only 10-hour shifts.Day to Day of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role:Carry out maintenance activities in compliance with company and health and safety standards.Conduct planned preventive maintenance and inspection tasks.Diagnose equipment faults, perform repairs, and ensure machinery is operational.Report breakdown causes and equipment issues to the Maintenance Manager.Manufacture spare parts using various tools such as lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment.Work with a range of machineryOperate maintenance forklifts and MEWPs as required.Required Skills and Qualifications of the Mechanical Maintenance Engineer:Minimum of 3 years'' experience in manufacturing maintenance/engineering.Previous machine tool experience.Recognised City and Guilds, Mechanical ONC/HNC qualifications.Electrical knowledge and educa
