SEN Teaching Assistant - Lewisham Primary School
Start Date: November 2025 | Term Time Only | Full-Time

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs in the early years? We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in the London Borough of Lewisham who are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their Reception class within the EYFS setting.

Role Details:

• Start Date: November 2025

• Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

• Contract: Until July 2026, with potential to continue in September 2026 or secure a permanent contract

• Pay: -90 - -100 per day (depending on experience), paid weekly via PAYE through our internal payroll team. From week 13, your rate will increase to -110 - -120 per day.

What you''ll be doing:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to a child with SEN in Reception.

• Supporting learning, play and social development in the EYFS environment.

• Assisting with personal care needs.

• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow tailored learning plans.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children in EYFS and/or SEN is highly desirable.
