HGV Skilled Mechanic Location Worcester Salary 38k to 42k per annum Engineering Permanent - Full Time Location Worcester Our Client is a Bus Company / Engineering We are working with a leading bus Company and our engineering teams are working at the forefront of bus technology. About the Role - Skilled Mechanic (PSV/HGV) Do you want to be part of our energetic team of HGV/PSV/bus mechanical engineers and maintenance staff repairing our fleet of buses? The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties: Diagnose and carry out Bous and coaches vehicle repairs, servicing, and parts replacement Diagnose vehicle faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used Carry out vehicle servicing and routine vehicle examinations using hand held data capture devices if applicable Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair Location: Worcester Hours: 39 per week on a rotating shift pattern of early and late shifts 5 over 7 days - weekend premium rate for any weekend working About you Do you have at minimum a Level 3 NVQ standard of equivalent qualification as a HGV/PSV or bus mechanic? Do you have a flexible approach to working hours? A PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential (we will help you obtain this) Must have a valid UK driver''s licence Experience of working with buses and coaches would be an advantage, but any vehicle mechanic experience
