SEN Teaching Assistant – Just Outside Guildford

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded specialist school located just outside of Guildford. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people in a nurturing and structured setting, helping them grow both academically and personally.

Location: Just outside of Guildford
Hours: Monday: 8:30am – 4:00pm
Tuesday to Thursday: 8:30am – 4:15pm
Friday: 8:30am – 3:45pm
Salary: £14.00 - £15.50 per hour
Contract: Long-term / Temp-to-Perm

Own transport is essential due to the school’s rural location.

• Support students with a range of complex mental health and additional needs, providing consistency, encouragement, and reassurance throughout the school day.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and the wider school team to maintain a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
• Encourage and guide pupils in developing emotional regulation, confidence, and positive engagement with learning.
• Assist learners across different key stages, helping them build independence and achieve meaningful progress.

• A patient and empathetic individual with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN.
• Previous experience within an SEN, education, care, or support setting is beneficial but not essential.
