About the Opportunity Wolviston Management Services are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer on behalf of a leading organisation based in Middlesbrough. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering team, where you will play a key role in supporting and developing electrical and automation systems within a industrial manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering capital expenditure (CAPEX) projects, major maintenance initiatives, and continuous improvement activities across the site. Key Responsibilities Provide electrical and automation engineering support to site operations. Manage and deliver CAPEX and major maintenance projects from conception through to completion. Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement. Conduct root cause analysis of significant equipment failures and implement effective corrective actions. Work closely with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to ensure the successful introduction of new equipment, technologies, and process improvements. Develop technical specifications for equipment, products, and engineering services. Manage external contractors and suppliers, including contract administration, site supervision, change management, and claims resolution.
