Year 2 Teacher

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking a dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a fantastic primary school based in Leigh. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position starting this September. For the right candidate, this role offers a seamless transition onto a permanent school contract.

What the School is Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and phonics (e.g., Read Write Inc. or similar programmes).

An ECT looking for a supportive environment to complete parts of their induction.

A creative approach to lessons that keeps young learners focused and inspired.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
