Sous Chef

We''re looking for a passionate Sous Chef to support our Head Chef at our busy hotel, restaurant and wedding / events venue in LetchworthThe Sous Chef role is key to providing first class hospitality service, ensuring that company standards are maintained, financial targets are achieved and that customer expectations are met.Main Responsibilities:Developing a high performing and motivated team.Maintaining superb hygiene rating and excellent guest reviews of foodResponsible for the successful management of the kitchen.Strong controls for labour, stock and financial planning are essentialTo always exceed guest expectations and provide best in class hospitality to our guests.Passion for food is a mustIdeally you will have:Proven experience in a high-end busy restaurant / hotel environment at a similar level.Previous experience of stock control, ordering to budget and requirement and team management.Ability to manage a multifaceted, fast paced business where every day if different.Excellent communication skills.A positive ''Can Do'' attitude and lead by exampleJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £12.21-£14.00 per hourExpected hours: 25
