Paint Sprayer ManagerLocation: Location About the Role We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Paint Sprayer Manager to lead our paint spraying and protective coating operations within a busy structural steel fabrication environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the paint shop, coordinating the spraying team, maintaining high-quality finishing standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently and on schedule.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced paint sprayer or supervisor who is ready to take the next step into a management role.Key Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operation of the structural steel paint shop.Lead, supervise and coordinate a team of paint sprayers and preparation operatives.Plan and prioritise work to meet production and project deadlines.Ensure structural steel is correctly prepared prior to coating.Oversee the application of primers, intermediate coats and topcoats in accordance with project specifications.Ensure correct paint systems, film thicknesses and application methods are followed.Monitor quality throughout the preparation and spraying process.Carry out inspections and address any defects or rework requirements.Maintain accurate records of paint usage, batch numbers, inspections and completed work.Work closely with fabrication, production, project management and site teams.Ensure COSHH, PPE, health and safety and environmental requirements are fully adhered to.Maintain paint ..... full job details .....
