Description

• Develop and implement category strategies to achieve cost savings and value for money.
• Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with contracts.
• Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and mitigate risks within the procurement and supply chain.
• Lead tendering processes, including drafting, issuing, and evaluating proposals.
• Ensure procurement activities align with organisational policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and meet their procurement needs.
• Monitor and report on procurement performance against KPIs and objectives.
• Support the development of procurement best practices across the organisation.

Profile

A successful Interim Category Manager should have:

• Proven experience managing end to end procurement.
• Category management principles and procurement regulations, ideally with IT and FM.
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills to deliver cost savings and value.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships and resolve complex issues effectively.
• Experience in leading tendering processes and evaluating proposals.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A relevant qualification in procurement or supply chain management is desirable.
