As Head of Healthcare, your responsibilities will vary. You will:Provide pro-active management of the healthcare services onsite.Maintain the strategic direction of the service and deliver agreed contractual requirements and targets from NHS England.Be responsible for delivering a highly functional clinical service, within the budget, with support from the finance business partner and regional manager.Form part of the wider prison senior leadership team, working with other key stakeholders to ensure the contract becomes highly functional and health care services become fully embedded within the prison as a whole.Ensure agreed standards are achieved by leading, developing and motivating your team ensuring they receive appropriate supervision and performance appraisal.Be the CQC registered manager and implement internal and external policies and procedures, particularly those with statutory implications.If you are interested in career development, we have a wide range of opportunities for you to develop your skills and experience, which include both internal and external options for development and learning.It doesn’t stop there
