An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing business in Manchester, where you''ll play a key role in identifying and investigating potentially fraudulent motor claims. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail and experience handling motor fraud claims from a Defendant perspective. The Role As a Counter Fraud Motor Claims Handler, you will be responsible for screening and investigating motor claims suspected of fraud or exaggeration, handling a varied caseload ranging from straightforward claims through to delegated authority cases worth approximately £100,000. Key responsibilities include: Proactively screening and investigating potentially fraudulent or exaggerated motor claims. Handling credit hire claims and a varied portfolio of motor fraud cases. Using tools such as CUE, MIAFTR, IFIG and Mohawk, alongside online research and databases, to investigate claims and build claimant profiles. Identifying fraud indicators and determining appropriate investigative action. Supporting and training colleagues on fraud identification and referral processes. Liaising with investigators, solicitors and industry contacts. Monitoring compliance with the company''s fraud strategy and providing guidance to the wider Claims Team. ..... full job details .....
