Summary: We are seeking an ambitious and hardworking Estimator to join a growing and well-established construction business based in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for an Estimator looking to join a close-knit team where their contribution will be valued and where they can play a key role in the successful delivery of projects across the region. We are open to candidates from either a residential or commercial construction background. More importantly, we are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn and develop within the business. Key Responsibilities Preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions Reviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentation Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations Assessing project risks and opportunities Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams Supporting the pre-construction process from enquiry through to tender submission Assisting with value engineering and cost-saving initiatives Requirements Previous experience in an Estimator within construction Experience within residential or commercial construction projects Strong numerical and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Good communication and organisational skills Proficient in Microsoft Office and estimating software (desirable) Positive, hardworking, and team-oriented attitude What''s on Offer Competitive ..... full job details .....
