We’re looking for a proactive Accounts Assistant to join our friendly team on a permanent, part-time basis (25 hours per week) 9.30 a.m. - 3.00 p.m. hours are flexible, but we do need you in the office 5 days a week at our Wherstead Road location in Ipswich.
You will be responsible for: -
- Managing the purchase ledger
- Processing sales invoices and customer payments
- Handling company credit card expense forms and resolve queries
- Coordinating merchant rebate payments
- Providing occasional telephone cover for the Customer Service team
Ideal candidate will have: -
- At least 2 years’ experience in an accounts role
- Strong IT and communication skills
- AAT/bookkeeping qualification (advantage but not essential)
- A team player with excellent attention to detail
Salary / Benefits :-
- Salary: £17,700 per year
- Annual bonus scheme
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 22 after probation)
