Quality Engineer Wickham £40k-£45k Hexwired has partnered with a company who are a leading computing solutions provider. They are looking for a Quality Engineer who will be reporting to the Quality Manager. Although you will be working in a team you should be able to work under your own steam. Key skills required for this role: Over 3 years experience working as a Quality Engineer within a manufacturing environment. Conduct inspection of electrical, electronic, and mechanical components, assemblies, and finished products against engineering drawings and technical specifications. Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to address quality-related matters, including complaints, non-conformances, Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs), First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs), and change control processes. Proficient in using precision inspection tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and other measuring equipment. Involved in process improvement initiatives, including the use of Value Stream Mapping to optimize workflow and efficiency. The salary for this Quality Engineer role will be up to £40,000-£45,000 per annum. The company are rapidly expanding and are at the forefront of their industry.
