Interim Financial Accounting ManagerBristol Hybrid 2 days required on site 5-6-month contract November startWe are partnering with a large, complex organisation with a strong public-service purpose to recruit an Interim Financial Accounting Manager, to support them through a busy year-end period.Initially a 5-6 month assignment, the key focus will be financial reporting, external audit and the planning and delivery of interim and year-end statutory accounts. The organisation is also embedding a new finance system, so there may be scope for additional project work and potential extension beyond the initial assignment.The roleWorking within the Financial Reporting team, you''ll take a lead across:Planning and coordinating the interim and year-end accounts processLeading on external audit, including coordinating audit evidence and responding to queriesProviding strong technical accounting support across the organisationReviewing balance sheet reconciliations, resolving aged items and strengthening financial controlsSupporting the production of statutory accounts and financial reportingManaging and developing members of the financial accounting teamSupporting wider finance stakeholders with technical accounting queries and guidanceHelping the team manage additional workload while a new finance system is embeddedWhat we''re looking forACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent qualifiedAn experienced Financial Accounting Manager, Financial Controller or senior technical accountantStrong ..... full job details .....
