An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Building Regulations Principal Designer to join a growing multidisciplinary consultancy in Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a construction professional with a background in Building Surveying, Building Control, Clerk of Works or a similar technical discipline to take on a key role within an expanding Building Safety team. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, you will act as Building Regulations Principal Designer, coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations and Building Safety Act 2022. Projects will include Higher-Risk Buildings, complex refurbishments, new developments and major public sector schemes, offering plenty of technical variety and the opportunity to work on significant projects. The Role As a Building Regulations Principal Designer, you will: Lead Building Regulations Principal Designer appointments from inception through to project completion. Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams to ensure compliance with Building Regulations throughout the design process. Develop and manage Building Regulations compliance strategies in accordance with the Building Safety Act 2022. Review technical design information across architecture, structural engineering, building services and building surveying disciplines.
