We are currently recruiting for an experienced Level 3 HGV Technician to join a well-established commercial vehicle operation in Dartford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician who is looking to join a professional workshop environment with a strong focus on vehicle safety, maintenance standards and long-term career development.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for the servicing, maintenance and repair of a varied commercial vehicle fleet.

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing inspections and defect rectification
• Carrying out brake, suspension, steering and drivetrain repairs
• Using diagnostic equipment to identify vehicle faults
• Preparing vehicles for MOT
• Completing maintenance documentation accurately
• Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and company standards
• Working safely and efficiently within the workshop
• Supporting other members of the engineering team when required

About You

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience working as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on commercial vehicles
• Good understanding of vehicle inspection and maintenance requirements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence

An HGV licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
