Data Governance Lead I am recruiting for a financial services client who is looking to hire a Data Governance Lead to join their data team. This role will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the Data Strategy, working closely with business and technology stakeholders to identify, define and govern critical data assets. The role will contribute to enhancement of the Data Governance Policy, promote data ownership and stewardship and support initiatives that improve the quality, consistency and integrity of the Firm''s data. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and stakeholder management skills, enabling them to communicate the objectives and benefits of the Data Strategy effectively at all levels of the organisation and drive the adoption of Data Governance principles and best practices throughout the Firm. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain and enhance the content of the Firm''s Data Catalogue, including business glossary definitions, data lineage, ownership, classifications and governance metadata.Support the identification, assessment and remediation of Data Quality Issues, working with stakeholders to improve the accuracy, completeness and consistency of data.Contribute to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of Data Governance Policy, standards, procedures and controls.Support the implementation and embedding of the Firm''s Data Governance Policy across business units and functional departments.Work with business stakeholders to ..... full job details .....
