Registered Manager – South Shields

£40,000 + £5,000 once registered | Adult Social Care

Diamond Search are delighted to be representing our client in the appointment of an experienced Registered Manager in South Shields.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead an established 18-bed service supporting adults with physical and learning disabilities, with a strong focus on person-centred care, independence and achieving positive outcomes.

The Role

As Registered Manager, you'll take overall responsibility for the operational management of the service, including:

• Leading, motivating and developing the staff team.
• Ensuring high-quality, person-centred support.
• Managing staffing, budgets and resources.
• Ensuring compliance with CQC requirements and relevant legislation.
• Driving service improvement and positive outcomes.
• Supporting and developing Team Leaders and senior staff.
• Acting as a strong role model for best practice.

About You

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous management experience within adult social care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC and regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting adults with learning and/or physical disabilities.
• Proven leadership and team-management experience.
• Excellent organisation, communication and financial management skills.
• A genuine passion for improving the lives of the people you support.
• Level 5 Adult Management qualification (or equivalent), or willingness to complete it.
