Wellbeing Accommodation Support Worker
Key Responsibilities include:Acting as a key person to ensure young people feel safe, supported, and happy in their living environmentSupporting residents with budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and managing appointmentsHelping residents maintain their tenancy and understand their rights and responsibilitiesProviding emotional support and encouragement to build confidence and resilienceAssisting in crisis situations and making on-the-spot decisionsFacilitating access to education, employment, health services, and other community resourcesMaintaining accurate records and contributing to care/support plansWorking flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and nights as requiredParticipating in training and development opportunitiesEssential qualities we''re looking for:Positive, approachable, and non-judgmental attitudePatience, good sense of humour, and resilienceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience or willingness to work with vulnerable young people, including those with complex needs such as mental health issues or a history of homelessnessAbility to handle challenging situations calmly and effectively
