Stores Person / Forklift OperativeLocation: Gosfield, EssexSalary: 14.50 per hourJob Type: Full Time, PermanentHours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm Due to the rural location of the site, applicants must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle as public transport links are limited. Overtime opportunities are available and paid in addition to your standard hours. The Stores Person will report to the Stores Manager. This role will suit a motivated and methodical individual who can ensure all goods coming into and leaving the stores environment are checked, packaged and handled correctly, while maintaining accurate stock records and completing all associated paperwork. The role also involves servicing workshops and customers daily for any parts required. Responsibilities of the Stores Person / Forklift Operative:Pick according to delivery notes/picking sheets to service customer requirements in a timely manner. Any shortages must be noted and advised to the After Sales Department.Package all parts according to current requirements ready for dispatch.Ensure all stock is clearly marked with the correct part numbers and stored safely in the correct location.Return stock from workshops to the correct locations and ensure all paperwork is passed to the Stores Manager.Enter and maintain data on the company computer system and produce reports as required.Take an active role in regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.Control consumable stock ..... full job details .....
