You will play a key role in designing user-centred services, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and shaping the strategy for digital service transformation.Key Responsibilities* Coach and mentor other interaction designers, nurturing skill development and providing constructive feedback on their work* Champion user-centred design principles and communicate their value to a range of audiences and stakeholders* Understand and work within technical constraints that impact design decisions* Use extensive visual and interaction design knowledge to create usable, accessible and responsive user interfaces* Lead workshops, facilitate discussions, and support collaborative service design across professions* Participate in user research activities and translate insights into actionable design outcomes* Produce sketches, concepts and prototypes at varying levels of fidelity, including interactive prototypes using the GOV.UK Prototyping Kit* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including policy, operations, product, delivery, system design and user-centred design specialists* Advocate for inclusive and user-centred design practices across the organisation* Support the development of service
