Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and skilled HGV Hiab driver to join a busy transport operation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving and be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently. This role requires excellent communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles. Responsibilities Operate commercial vehicles including tractor-trailers, box trucks, forklifts Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor as required. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including route details and cargo documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transport. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while ensuring timely delivery of goods. Assist in yard jockey duties when necessary, moving trailers within the yard as required. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, representing the company professionally. Experience Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid Hiab licence.
